Funeral services for Gary Eugene Wehrle will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Rev. Charles Hutzler officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Pineville, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Wehrle, age 78, of Ball, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Grace Home in Alexandria, Louisiana.

He was born to the Union of Daniel Michael and Bertha Black Wehrle and raised in Assumption, Illinois. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from the Renaissance Home. He loved woodworking, carpentry and had recently begun the enjoyment of fishing. He was extremely fond of his two dogs, Penny and Piper.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Bertha Wehrle; step-father, Charles Weger; sister, Joan Metzger Zindel; brother, Charles "Corky" Weger; son, Robbie Williams; granddaughter, Ashley Williams.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Jean Feazell Wehrle, son, Daniel Ray Wehrle, (Christy) of Dry Prong, Michael Wehrle (Lori) of Boyce, Dennie Williams (Patti) of Alexandria, Patrick Williams (Becky) of Kolin, Freddy Williams of Ball; two daughters, Angela Wehrle Jenkins of Kolin and Traci Jo Wehrle of Alexandria; sisters Carolyn Jeffries, Marilyn Nicol (Norman) and Vickie Hubbard of Assumption, Illinois, Violet Brown (Charlie) of Taylorville, Illinois; sixteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; also survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be his sons, Danny Wehrle, Mike Wehrle, Dennie
Williams, Pat Williams, Freddy Williams, and his grandsons Chandler Jenkins and
Will Wehrle; honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Williams, Jason Williams, Drake Wehrle, Zachary Williams, Joshua Williams and Parker Constantino.

Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
