Funeral services for Mr. Dewey Ray Humphries will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2015 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, LA with the Reverends Ross Ford and Bob Williford officiating. Interment will be at Alexandria Memorial Gardens, Alexandria, LA, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, LA.
Mr. Humphries, age 86, of Forest Hill, LA, entered eternal rest on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA.
Mr. Humphries was a loving husband and father. He was an electrician by trade and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Hattie Humphries; and the mother of his children, Bobbie Jean Humphries.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Pauline D. Humphries of Lecompte; one son Bradley Humphries (Melissa) of Pineville; two daughters, Shelley McFarland (Ryan) of Dayton, OH and Alyson Hardin (Zebadiah) of Sacramento, CA; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, LA on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
