Funeral services for Miss Carolyn L. Addison will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with the Reverends Donald Lemmons and James Pruett officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pollock, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Miss Addison, age 65, of Montgomery, entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana.

Miss Addison was a teacher at Pollock Elementary School for 33 years; having taught classroom music education. She was a member of Verda Baptist Church. She was a former Minister of Music at First Baptist Church of Pollock. She was also the former Youth Director at First Baptist Church of Pollock and Pleasant Hill Baptist.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howell, Sr. and Mary Addison; one niece, Samantha Boren.

She is survived by one brother, Howell Addison, Jr. (Rhonda) of Dry Prong; three sisters, Paula Owen (James) of Pineville, Kathryn Smith (Andy) of Pineville and Jeannie Miller of Pineville; also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; the love of her life, Carey Hendrix.

Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
