Memorial services for Mr. Donald Stevenson will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Rev. Greg Carroll and Rev. Brad Bunting officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, LA.
Mr. Stevenson, age 80, of Georgetown, entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at his residence.
He enjoyed working as a meat cutter in the grocery industry. He was an officer for the U.S. Navy and served his country with pride. He was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was also a great friend to those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lydia Stevenson; and a daughter, Phyllis A. Stevenson.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Phyllis Stevenson of Georgetown, LA; two daughters, Donna L. Bartley (Vince) of Atlanta and Patty Laird (Rob) of Olla; and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until time of services at 4:00 p.m.
