Funeral services for Mr. Lonnie W. Humphries will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, LA with Rev. Tony Ranero officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Humphries, born May 11, 1927, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the age of 87, at his home in River Ridge, Louisiana, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a World War II Navy veteran.

Preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Belle Pittman Humphries, two brothers Richard (Dick) and Paul (Buddy) Humphries, and four sisters, Lela, Leah, Ada and Vada.

Survivors include his wife, Jenelyn Ramanda Humphries of the Phillipines; two sons, Michael and Liz Humphries of Lafayette, Randy and Debbie Humphries of Mocksville, NC; two daughters, Jerry Humphries of New London, NC and Lana Humphries of Rosarito, Baja California, MX; brother, Leon Humphries of Alexandria; and two sisters; Mittie Robertson of Shreveport and Lorene Strange of McNary. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 9 a.m. until time of service.
