Funeral services for Ms. Shirley B. Fleming will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with the Reverends Kenneth Murrell and Danny Garner officiating. Interment will be in Hebron Cemetery, Dry Prong, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Ms. Fleming, age 68, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Annie Beavers; two sisters, Linda Pace and Tina Kearns.

She is survived by two sons, Perry Fleming (Renee) of Mascoutah, Illinois and Jeffrey Fleming of Atlanta; two daughters, Kristal Ducote (Blake) of Pineville and Hope Ringler (Allen) of Trinidad, Texas; two sisters, Carolyn Nelson (Harry “Eddie”) of Pineville and Sharron Rusk (Glynn) of Dry Prong; seven grandchildren.

Ms. Fleming was a “Wal-Mart Greeter” for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who loved to travel, shop, and fish. She “loved life” and always had a smile on her face. Shirley was always ready for a fish fry, family reunion, casino trip or music festival.

Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Tuesday, Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
