Alfred S. Bordelon
Funeral services for Mr. Alfred S. Bordelon will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at The New Life Tabernacle, Woodworth, Louisiana with Rev. Chris Morris and Richard Bushnell officiating. Interment will be in Paul Cemetery, Lecompte, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Bordelon, age 52, of Woodworth, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 6, 2015 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Silton and Johnnie Powell Bordelon; one sister, Kim Strange.
He is survived by his lifelong companion, Katherine Simpson of Woodworth; step-son, Kevin Simpson; two brothers, Joseph Bordelon (Regina) of Pineville, Aubrey “Sac” Bordelon (Kitty) of Woodworth; six sisters, Barbara Johnson (Ronald) of Carencro, Margaret Despino (Keith) of Colfax, Shirley Stroud of Alexandria, Judith Masters (Harold) of Pineville, Debra Goleman (Glynn) of Elmer and Grace McMillan (David) of Glenmora; special friend, Cathy Nuckols Pearson.
Pallbearers will be Jody Strange, Casey Strange, Ronnie Strange, Damien Roberts, Chad Thomisee and Dewayne Eaves; honorary pallbearers will be Gage Strange and Daylien Cloessnen.
Friends may call at The New Life Tabernacle, Woodworth, Louisiana on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
