Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie D. Goodwin will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Harmony Church, Deville, Louisiana with Rev. Richie Craig officiating. Interment will be in Big Island Baptist Church Cemetery, Deville, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Goodwin, age 75, of Homer, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alphonse and Loucindy Deville; three sons; one daughter; one granddaughter and one great granddaughter.

She is survived by her husband of 9 years John T. Goodwin of Homer; five sons, Ronald Robinson (Bonnie) of New Iberia, Roy Robinson (Judy) of Carson City, NV, Lee Gunn (Shana) of Shreveport, Michael Goodwin (Shirley) of Homer, John Goodwin (Angie) of Homer; seven daughters, Nina LaPrairie (Tommy) of Larto, Cynthia Kilpatrick (Tommy) of Deville, Melissa Trevino (Joe) of Youngsville, Mary Gunn of Minden, Sherry Melancan of Franklin, Jeri Nichols of Franklin and Kim Cochran of Anchorage, Alaska; twenty five grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Harmony Church, Deville, Louisiana on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
