Obituary for Lannis William Day
Memorial services for Mr. Lannis W. Day will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2014 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with the Reverend Cliff Stewart officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Day, age 70, of Ball, entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at his residence.
Lannis was a loving father, brother, and grandfather. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Mr. Day is survived by his son, Russell Day of Ball; daughter, Tina Price of Ball; two brothers, James Day of Pineville and Russell Day (Sabra) of Boyce; one sister, Audrey Higgins (Larry) of Hineston; three grandchildren, Hannah Rogers (Joseph), Noah Price and Emily Day.
Special thanks to Sherry Dunn, Sam Robinson and Compassionate Care hospice for the care, love and compassion shown to Mr. Day during his illness.
