Memorial services for Mr. Carl E. Cumella will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with the Reverend David Shaw officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Cumella, age 69, of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Monday, August 18, 2014 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Cumella was an avid golfer and bowler. He also enjoyed going to the casino, swimming, water volleyball, helping coach little league baseball and he was a lover of all animals. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He will be missed dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ida Cumella; two sons, Robert and Michael Cumella; one sister, Betty Maxwell.

He is survived his loving wife of 10 years, Patricia McKay Cumella of Alexandria; one daughter, Kelly Miller (Jim) of Alexandria; two sisters, JoAnn Barr of Alexandria and Brenda Robertson of Jonesboro; brother, Ray Miles of Crosett, Arkansas; half-brothers and sisters, Junior Miles, David Miles, Janie Quimbly, Carolyn Lemely and Nancy Miles of Crosett, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Todd, Kristen, Theresa, Michael, Summer and Carla; fourteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
