Funeral services for Mr. Jason T. Delrie will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Rev. Sherman Delrie officiating. Interment will be in Frazier Cemetery, Prospect, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Delrie, age 42, of Dry Prong, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana.

He was a member of Prospect Pentecostal Church. He was the Fire Chief for the Grant Parish Fire District #6 for over 23 years. He was a medic with Med Express Ambulance Service for 20 years. He coached t-ball, softball and baseball. He was an avid outdoorsman; he loved fishing and hunting especially with Papa John and Uncle Philip.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Mrs. Theresa B. Delrie of Dry Prong; father, Thomas Delrie (Jennifer) of Colfax; mother, Sheila Weldon (Bob) of Texas; one son, Jason Delrie of Deville; two daughters, Meagan Wiley of Ball and Cheyenne Delrie of Dry Prong; two step-children, Laurene Bladel and Jessie Sanchez of Pineville; one sister, Laurie Spitzfaden of Dry Prong; one step-sister, Julia Gordon Achee; four grandchildren, Damian and Nevaehlynn Wiley of Ball, Cason and Remi Delrie of Deville.

Pallbearers will be Jessie Sanchez, Anthony Bladel, Russell Boney, Michael Strickland, Danny Martin and Doyle Lemoine.

Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
