Mr. William "Tony" Boatwright, age 63, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at his residence in Alexandria, surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services for Mr. Boatwright will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Steve Baillio officiating. Burial for Mr. Boatwright will be in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Gardner under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home. Visitation for Mr. Boatwright will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Gallagher Funeral Home.

Tony loved his family, enjoyed fishing, gardening and working on European cars. He was a master BMW mechanic, worked for Walker Automotive before owning and operating "Tony" European Auto for 30 years.
Mr. Boatwright was preceded in death by his father, William T. Boatwright, two brothers, Steve and Billy Boatwright and a sister, Angie Boatwright.

Tony Boatwright is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Mary H. Boatwright; his mother, Dorothy Boatwright; his daughter, Amy Porter (Daniel); two sons, Josh Hamillton (Jenny) and T.J. Boatwright (Emilie); thirteen grandchildren, Ashley, Chaz, McKinzie, Maddox, Ethan, Tyler, Zach, Cami, Nettie, Parker, Maggie, Mya and Lyla; two sisters, Becky Slack (Robert) and Carolyn Sweat (Byron) and a host of customers which he thought of as "Family". Tony will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him.
