Obituary for Wanda Elaine Hawthorne
Wanda Elaine Waites Hawthorne, age 81 of Ball, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at her home in Ball, Louisiana.
Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Sherwood Hawthorne, Sr.; parents, Irvin and Hattie Waites; and a granddaughter, Heather Hawthorne.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Lester Sherwood Hawthorne, Jr. and David Hawthorne (Renee) and a grandson, Jason Hawthorne.
Wanda loved everything outdoors. She also enjoyed playing the piano in church and watching birds, especially martins. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
