Memorial services for Timothy M. Roper, will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the River Outreach Center in Pineville, Louisiana.
Memorial Visitation for Mr. Roper will be held beginning at 10:00 AM until service time at the River Outreach Center.
Mr. Timothy M. Roper, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022, after an extended illness following surgery a year ago.
Mr. Roper is survived by his wife, Mindy Roper; his children and stepchild, Nathan Roper, Matthew Roper, and Darnell Thomas; his parents Mel Roper (Brenda) and Judy Shumaker (John David); his brother David Roper (Paula); his nephew David Roper Jr. and niece Abigail Roper; numerous aunts, uncles, other family and friends.
Tim worked at Louisiana Christian University (previously Louisiana College) as a professor of art; teaching painting and drawing, and graphic and web design for 18 years. He previously worked as an adjutant professor at LSUA, Southeastern Louisiana College, Baton Rouge Community College and Louisiana State University.
Tim had many passions in his life including art and music but it was his dedication and devotion to his family and God that stood out the most. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, colleague and friend, he will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
