Sue Ellen Price Meyer, left this earth for her heavenly home on December 25, 2020 – Christmas Day at the age of 80. She was born to Ed and Amy Bradford Price on November 17, 1940. She married Lynn A. Meyer at St. John’s Catholic Church, Deville, LA on June 28, 1958. They lived in the area for nine months before moving to Chandler, AZ for the remainder her husband’s time in the USAF. After discharge they moved to Freeport, IL and raised their family there.
She will be remembered as someone who loved and served the Lord. Her family will always remember her kind, loving and joyful spirit. She volunteered for many organizations such as Crisis Hotline, Hospice, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and others. She was a Sunday School teacher for many years and active in her church. She had a gift with words, loved to write and left many beautiful writings for her family and friends to cherish. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and cared deeply for many wonderful friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Diana Meyer, Kathy Meyer Belgard (Ray), Lana Jo Meyer Knutson (Bart); five grandchildren, Bobby Belgard (Brandi), Jacob Belgard (Jessie), Dillon Belgard, Brock Knutson, and Clint Knutson; and three great grandchildren, Charlie Belgard, Sterlin Belgard, Levi Belgard, and Tatumn Tullos.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Lynn Meyer; two children, Donald Meyer and Robert Meyer; her parents Ed and Amy Price; and her brother Clifford Price.
There will be no memorial service. A graveside service will be held for immediate family at a later date.
