Obituary for Stephen Wayne Perkins
Funeral services for Mr. Stephen Wayne Perkins will be at 10:00 a.m on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Gallagher Funeral Home with Reverend Dave Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Ball, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
Visitation for Mr. Perkins will be from 9:00 a.m. to service time on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Gallagher Funeral Home.
Mr. Perkins entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Christus St. Francis Hospital in Alexandria, surrounded by his loving family.
Stephen Perkins was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He loved hunting, fishing, wood-working (he could carve/whittle meaningful creations out of wooden sticks) and being around his family. Mr. Perkins was a longtime employee of AFCO Industries. He was a member of River Outreach Church. He will be missed by everyone that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Theresa Perkins.
Mr. Perkins is survived by his darling of 13 years, Connie Moser; four daughters, Shanna Bonner (Gary), Stephanie Stuckey (Shannon), September Fink (Dylan) and Heather Moser; a son, Michael "Bubba" Moser; eleven grandchildren, Savannah, Dylan, Hunter, Damon, Ashton, Lauren, Zachary, Elijah, Taylor, Blake and Lainey; two great-grandchildren, Sawyer and Kellen; two sisters, Elizabeth Lowery (Bill) and Anna Metrejean (Jimmy) and a brother Greg Perkins (Traci) and a host of friends.
