Sherri Holston Pigg, born August 20, 1963 in Alexandria, Louisiana, passed away on April 16th, 2022 after an extended illness. Services will be a private family affair.
Sherri was preceded in death by her father, Howard Holston.
She is survived by her husband, Mickey Pigg; her mother, DeAlva Holston; her sisters, Tamara Vallery and Dr. Stacy Zeller; her son, Drew Greenwald, and his wife, Nicole; her son, Matt Greenwald, and his wife, Jane: step-son, Clint Pigg and his wife, Anne; her step-son, Dusty Pigg, and his wife Carly; and seven grandchildren - Olivia Greenwald, Katie Greenwald, Johnny Schembre, Nicholas Schembre, Sarah Pigg, Marshall Pigg, and Austin Pigg, nephews - Joseph Zeller, Daniel Zeller, David Zeller, and John Vallery; nieces - Emily Piner, Claire Smith, and Mary Grace Zeller.
Sherri was happiest expanding her culinary horizons, reading recipes, and incorporating them into her own delicious creations. She was a giver to her core and wanted to make sure her family and friends were provided with anything that was within her power to share. She traveled the world and delighted in learning the cultures of the places she visited, especially the cuisine.
She will be remembered as a loving and generous person by all who knew her.
