Obituary for Sherman Nelson "Big Dog" Rodriguez Jr.
Graveside services for Sherman Rodriguez, Jr., aka "Big Dog" will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Burrough Cemetery, Gardner, Louisiana. Sherman entered eternal rest on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.
Sherman Rodriguez Jr., age 56, a loving husband, father ,brother and son will be remembered forever by his loving wife and best friend, Tammy Rodriquez. He is also survived by his parents, Sherman and Elizabeth Rodriguez; step daughter Heather Lee (Christopher); his sister, Sherina Bonnette (Terry); two brothers, Joshua Garcia and Joel Garcia (Christy), a son, Zachary Rodriguez, and his furbaby Isisa, and a host of friends.
Sherman was a carpenter by trade, a building contractor and currently was working in the maintenance department of the Rapides Parish School Board. He loved his family and the outdoors.
