Obituary for Shannon John Crochet
Shannon "Beave" John Crochet, age 38, entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 13, 2022.
The visitation for Shannon will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Gallagher Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will be a graveside on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Big Island Cemetery. Interment will be under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Gary Lane Smith, Jeffrey Crochet, Chris Wolf, Jody Smith, JoJo Smith and Joey Meranto. Honorary Pallbearer is Spanky Crochet.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Marion Sr. and Alzora Simpson; and brother, Reginald Wiley Messer.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jessica Smith Crochet; two daughters, Autumn Marie and Elora Danielle Crochet "Bear"; mother, Shirley Simpson Crochet; five brothers, Shelton Messer, Sean Crochet (Rachel), Jessie Crochet, Jr., Shaunesey Crochet, and Jeffrey Crochet (Evelyn); five sisters, Sharon Meranto (Joey), Shelia Brady (David), Sarah Smith, Julie Crochet, Jessica Monk, nieces, Ashley Brady, and Megan Meranto; and a host of extended family and friends.
Shannon was a loving father, husband, and son. He loved spending time with his wife and children. He also loved to hunt and fish. He always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude. He loved quietly, but fiercely. He will be forever loved and missed.
