Obituary for Sammy Ray McQueen, Jr.
Mr. Sammy "Bo" McQueen, Jr., age 57 of Pineville, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 16, 2022. The visitation will be on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Gallagher Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with the service at 6:00 p.m.
Sammy was a loving father, fiancé, grandfather, son, and friend. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding 4 wheelers and spending time with his friends and family. He was a foreman at Petron for 20+ years. Sammy had a great personality, always telling jokes and laughing and making others laugh. He will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
Sammy is preceded in death by his father, Sammy McQueen, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Frank and Estelle Pacholik; paternal grandparents, Alexander and Audrey McQueen; an uncle, Malcolm McQueen; and two aunts, Sharon Sayer Sadler and Bobbie Joe Dean.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Dustin McQueen; a daughter, Brittany McQueen; mother, Judy Pacholik McQueen; one grandchild, Weston Chapman; fiancé, Shannon Andries; best friend, Dana Sayer Thornhill; and a host of family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital ICU and 6N & Allegiance Home Health for their kindness and compassionate care.
