Mr. Ronald Lynn Spears, age 70, entered eternal rest on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. Services and Inurnment, for Mr. Spears will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Central Louisiana Veteran’s Cemetery, in Leesville, Louisiana, with Reverend John Woodall officiating; under the direction Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory.

Mr. Spears was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and son. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force until his retirement as a Tech Sergeant. He is also a lifetime member of AMVets and will be laid to rest with full Air Force honors. Mr. Spears was also a talented carpenter and owned a woodworking business.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas McKay; and aunt, Corrie Worthy.

Mr. Ronald Spears is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Anita Wooten Spears; mother, Annie Mae Hart; step-daughters, Michelle Davis (Billy) of Eastover, South Carolina and Kristina Zepp of Elgin, South Carolina; grandchildren, Michael Zepp, Lorenzo Davis IV, Justin Davis, and Alexandria Davis; and 4 great-grandchildren.
