Obituary for Rodney Wayne Gurganious
Mr. Rodney Wayne Gurganious, age 65, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 1, 2022 at his home in Pineville, surrounded by his family.
Services for Mr. Rodney will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at the Church of Pentecost in Ball, at 4:00 p.m.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C.L. Gurganious and Opal Little Gurganious; brothers, C.L. Gurganious, Jr. and Esler Gurganious; in-laws, Merlin and Hazel Vercher; and nephew, Jimmy Wayne Humphries.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Sandi Vercher Gurganious; sisters, Margaret Eyre, Sharon Humphries, and Patricia Dubroc (Albert); nephews, Mike Eyre, Brandon Humphries, Sean Cannon, and John Vercher; niece, Michelle Clisby; and a host of extended family and friends.
Mr. Rodney was a loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He worked offshore and later as a carpet installer for many years. People were his world and he enjoyed visiting with people more than anything. He spent a lot of time at the boat landing at Cross Bayou visiting. He will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
