Obituary for Rocky Johnson

Mr. Rocky Johnson, age 60, entered eternal rest on, Thursday, February 4, 2021 in Tennessee. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Rocky was a loving husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law and friend. Rocky enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, telling stories, inappropriate jokes, debating politics, ghost hunting and driving around the country. He worked for over 30 years moving the nation as a long-distance truck driver, the last 10 years for Hamilton Transportation. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Memorial services for Mr. Rocky Johnson will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at First Baptist Church – Lone Pine in St. Landry, Louisiana with Pastor Adam Thornton officiating.

Rocky Lynn Johnson was born to Olan Lynn and Lila Vee Book-Johnson on June 8, 1960. He told his last story on February 4, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father Olan Lynn Johnson and his best buddy
Jet.

He leaves behind treasured memories and is survived by his mother Lila Vee Book-Johnson; his wife of 42 years, Deborah Lachney-Johnson; son, Michael Johnson and daughter-in law, Rebecca Stillwell-Johnson;
daughters, Kristi Johnson-Bobonea and Candace Brooke Johnson-Holley; the lights of his life – his grandchildren, Kaleigh, Gage, and Gaven Johnson, Aspyn (Francesca) and Elijah Bobonea, Luca Parraz, Shai Holley and Baby Cross; Siblings, Marvin, Vince, Dexter, Burt Johnson and Penny Johnson-Gallagher, brother-in laws, Joseph Hilton, Raul Flores and Steve Gallagher.
