Obituary for Robert Wayne Hickey
Mr. Robert Wayne Hickey, age 58, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at his home in Pineville.
The visitation for Mr. Wayne will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Harmony Church in Deville from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The service will be held on Monday at the church at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Richie Craig officiating. Burial will follow the services at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Barbara Hickey; and son, Matthew Hickey.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 27 years, Sandy Hickey; daughters, Tiffini Jones (Chance), Toni Emmons (Frank), and Taylor Lewing (Clancy Paulk); sister, Rhonda Hickey; and grandchildren, Karlee, Emmalynn, Easton, Nixon, and Addalynn; and a host of extended family and friends.
Mr. Wayne was a loving husband, father, brother, and BoBo to his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting and was a very good cook. He was a heavy equipment operator for many years and was currently working for Security Metal Roofing. He will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Chance Jones, Frank Emmons, Clancy Paulk, Russell Delaney, Mike Rainey, Christopher Rainey, Michael Shelton, and Wayne Beaubouef. Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Sills, Christopher Ryan, and Daryl Baillio.
