Obituary for Robert Lee Welch
Mr. Robert Lee Welch, age 76, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at his home in Pineville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow the Mass, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home. The visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 p.m.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Alberta Welch.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Mary "Liz" Welch; brother, Albert E. Welch, Jr. and wife Frances; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Mr. Robert was a loving husband, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and was a member of Knights of Columbus. He worked for many years as a Route Salesman, with food industry and vending machines. He will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
