A Private Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Robert George “Bob” Eberle will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Ball, LA with Father Rick Gremillion officiating. Private interment to follow at Tioga Cemetery in Tioga, Louisiana. Mr. Eberle, age 76 of Pineville, Louisiana entered eternal rest peacefully on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Rapides Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and George Eberle; and his brothers, George Eberle, Andrew Eberly, Donald Hiester, Jimmy Hiester, and Ralph Hiester. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Virginia Ackel “Jenny” Eberle; his daughter, Sheri Eberle Strange (Lucas); his son, Robert “Bobby” Eberle, and Alex Eberle (Maggie); his grandchildren, Annalise Strange, Alexander Strange, Kolton Eberle, and Addie Eberle; his brother, Louis Eberle; and a host of nephews, nieces, other family and friends. Bob was a proud US Army veteran who was a very friendly and outgoing person who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. A devout Catholic, Bob was a faithful parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Ball, Louisiana. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A special thank you to the caring staff of Tioga Community care nursing Facility.
