Obituary for Robert "Eddie" Edward Kemp
Mr. Robert "Eddie" Edward Kemp, age 75, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
Services for Mr. Eddie will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Kinchen and Martha Kemp; granddaughter, Krista Kay Tzuanos; and grandson, Robert Victor Bartlett.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 56 years, Judith Kemp; daughters, Lisa Kemp Pierce and Sheri Kemp Bettevy (Kevin); grandchildren, Sterling Kemp, Brett Bartlett, Tabitha Bartlett, Michael Pierce, Daniel J. Bartlett "DJ" (Dinna), Eric Pierce, Amanda Bartlett, and Jill Michiels; great grandchildren, Jaden, Conor, Addison, Jude, Kinsey, Kinsley, Erialle, Riley, Amelia, Raven, and Sebastian.
Mr. Eddie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a hard worker and retired from the Alexandria Fire Dept. #4 Station as a Captain. Mr. Eddie enjoyed cooking, training and riding horses. He was everyone's rock, and will forever be missed.
