Funeral Services for Robert Benson “Bobby” Lloyd Sr. will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory in Ball, Louisiana. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn memorial Park in Ball, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Robert Benson “Bobby” Lloyd Sr., age 73 of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Brookdale Senior Living Center in Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter B. Lloyd and Mary Lloyd.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Mary M. Lloyd; his loving sons, Robert Lloyd Jr. (Lana), and Chris Lloyd Sr. (Catherine); his 2 devoted grandsons, Christopher Lloyd Jr., and Brenton Lloyd; his loyal dog, Duke; other family and friends.
Bobby was a successful Industrial Salesman for 40 plus years. An avid golfer, he enjoyed scuba diving, photography and serving as a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 20 in Pineville, Louisiana. Above all, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his grandkids and his friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
