Obituary for Robert Lemons
Robert Michael Lemons, known to most as Mickey, Bear, P-pop or Santa, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on September 18, 2023 at his home in Glenmora, LA. He was born April 11, 1948 to Robert F. and Althea Hewson Lemons of Covington, LA.
Robert is survived by his wife, Debbey Lemons of Littleton, CO, a daughter, Desiree’ Lemons of Littleton, CO, and a son, Christopher Lemons (Amanda) of Woodworth, LA. Others who mourn his passing include his grandchildren, Jameson and Sydni Brignac of Littleton, CO, and Emily Webb, Abby Webb, and Aiden Lemons of Woodworth, LA, as well as siblings, Sharon Palliser, L.C. Stire (Mary), Kathy Sharp, Patty Lemons Rahmel, and Kayron Satterlee (Herbert), all of Covington, LA, in addition to numerous relatives and friends.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of St. Joseph’s Hospice for the care and compassion they provided during a very difficult time.
To honor his wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private gathering in celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
