A Memorial Gathering of Family and Friends for Ricky Dee Brossette will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana.
Ricky Dee Brossette, age 65, of Opelousas, Louisiana, formerly of Pineville, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Opelousas General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Ricky is preceded in death by his father, Curly Brossette.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Candy Brossette (Don), and Misty Rabalais (Jamie); his grandchildren, Karl Vanantwerpen, Jr., Ricky Vanantwerpen, and Natalie Rabalais; his devoted mother, Joy Welborn Stansberry; his loving sister, Wanda Antee; his step - father, John Stansberry; other family, and friends.
Ricky was a retired Auto Body Repairman. He loved driving racing cars. Always the life of the party, Ricky enjoyed music, dancing, and making people laugh. He also had a deep passion for all animals and took care of many throughout his lifetime.
Ricky was a wonderful father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
