Funeral services for Mr. Richard J. Kojis, Sr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel in Ball, Louisiiana. Mr. Kojis, age 82 of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
Visitation for Mr. Kojis will be at Gallagher Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 10:00 a.m until service time.
Mr. Kojis, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He owned and operated Heart City Construction company for over twenty years. Mr. Kojis loved LSU and Saints football, fishing, hunting and just being around family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 42 years, Sandra B. Kojis; two daughters, Angie Neal (Jim) and Regina Franks (Shannon); two sons, Rick Kojis, Jr. (Karen) and Kevin Anthony Kojis (Sabrina); six grandchildren, Jaryd Kojis, Dustin Dauzart, Cody Neal (Anna), Jacob Neal (Christy), Jordyn Neal and Weston Turner; three great-grandchildren, Anistyn Neal, Colston Neal and Addisyn Neal.
