Obituary for Richard Louis Ashmore

Mr. Richard Louis Ashmore, age 39, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 in Deville, Louisiana. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home.

Services for Mr. Richard will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball with Reverends Keith Dickens and Curtis Campbell officiating. The Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the time of services. Interment will be at Lone Pine Cemetery in Bentley, LA under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.

Mr. Richard, a carpenter by trade, was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his kids. Mr. Richard took pride in his style and liked nice clothes and jewelry. He loved music and working with technology. He will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Emmett and Mary Raney; paternal grandparents, James and Rosalind Ashmore; son, Keith Guillory II; aunts, Donna Raney, Wanda Davis, and Tammy Corley.

Those left to cherish his memory include sons, Lane Ashmore of Deville and Keevin Guillory (Kaycee) of Colfax; daughter, Linzey Ashmore; mother, Patricia Ashmore of Deville; father, Michael Ashmore (DeDrea) of Pineville; brother, Michael Perrin of Deville; sisters, Amanda Brossett (Joey) of Deville, Erika Ashmore (John) of Tioga, and Stacy Rini (Chris) of Woodworth; grandchildren, Kayden and Paisley Guillory; nieces, Raegan Brossett and Emma Rini; nephews, Joseph and Jacob Brossett, Trenton Strong, and Bryson Rini; and a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers honored to serve include Keevin Guillory, Michael Perrin, John Strong, Chris Rini, Joey Brossett, and Pete Smith; Honorary Pallbearers are Lane Ashmore, Joseph Brossett, Jacob Brossett, Trenton Strong, and Bryson Rini.
