Obituary for Rex Allen Deville
Mr. Rex Allen Deville, age 63, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in Alexandria at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
Memorial Services for Mr. Rex Deville will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home with Reverend James Greer officiating. Friends and family are invited to visit from 3:00 PM until the time of service.
Mr. Rex Deville was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle. He loved being outside fishing, grilling, or riding his lawnmower. Mr. Rex was selfless always putting others before himself and he quickly filled the role of protector and provider when his father passed. He will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Deville and Lillian Cole Deville; sister, Pat Robertson; and nephew, Cody Rainwater.
Those left to cherish his memory include the love of his life, Julia Neal Deville; son, Matthew Deville (Dianna) of Alexandria; daughter, Kimberly Deville of Cameron, NC; step-sons, Thomas McQueen of Ball and Ryan McQueen of Dry Prong; step-daughter, Tomonica Irons of Las Vegas; brother, Billy Deville (Nancy) of Jacksonville, AR; sister, Joyce Toups (Phil) of Deville; 12 grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
