Obituary for Randy Lee Allen
Mr. Randy Lee Allen, 60, entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 7, 2023 in Alexandria at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
Visitation for Mr. Randy will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Gallagher Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The service will be held on Saturday the 13th at 2:00 p.m. at Philadelphia Baptist Church with Dr. Philip Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in the Czech Cemetery, across from the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Allen and Judy Robertson Allen; paternal grandparents, Clyde and Thelma Allen; and maternal grandparents, Martin and Agnes Robertson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 38 years, Karen Kastanek Allen; son, Cody Allen (Kacy); daughter, Bailey Herring (Matt); sister, Angie Davis (Darren); grandchildren, Bella, Riley, and Maddie Jo; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Brister, Christopher Barr, Dustin Brister, Amber Barr, Peyton Foster, and a host of extended family and friends.
Mr. Randy was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle. Randy never met a stranger and was loved by all that knew him. He drove a truck and was heavy equipment operator for many years. Coach Randy's favorite hobby was coaching girls softball, which he did with great pride. He will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
