Obituary for Polly Honeycutt Welch
Mrs. Pauline "Polly" Honeycutt Welch, age 94, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Tioga Community Care.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at New Prospect Baptist Church from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The service will be held at the church on Friday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Trey Lewis and Deacon Charles Howard officiating. Interment will follow services, in Frazier Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reecy and Audie Honeycutt; siblings, Lois Honeycutt Sinquefield Gibons, Eunice Pat Honeycutt Slay, Obal Honeycutt, Donnis Honeycutt, Travis Lane Honeycutt, Oleta Cline Edwards, and Fannie Honeycutt Hickman.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 71 yeas, Alvin Herschel Welch; sons, Baxter Welch and Dexter Welch; daughter, Dot Brevelle (Clyde); sister, Nelda Ganey; grandchildren, Cory Brevelle, Colin Brevelle (Jessica), Katie Thomson (Stephen), Kandie Bailey (Rob), Alan Welch, Kailee Landry (Seth), Logan Welch (Rebecca), Chesney Mayeaux (Jarryd); and great grandchildren, Ethan, Langston, Carson, Tyson, Christian, Landon, Rhett, Ramsee, Kennedy, Kallie, Sophia, Kinley, Kendal, Whitley, and Mia.
Mrs. Polly was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was deeply devoted to her Lord and Savior and a mighty prayer warrior. Mrs. Polly was selfless in everyway, even praying for her family when she herself was very ill. She would give you a Big Country Cookie or a Little Bite, but never let anyone leave her home hungry. Mrs. Polly will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Cory Brevelle, Colin Brevelle, Alan Welch, Logan Welch, Seth Landry, and Ethan Landry.
