Obituary for Patricia Carpenter Garlington
Memorial services for Patricia Carpenter Garlington will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 with a Memorial Visitation from 1:00 PM until service time at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Jim Winegeart officiating.
Mrs. Garlington, age 79, of Pollock, entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Woods Haven Nursing Center in Pollock, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Doil D. “Sonny G.” Garlington; her parents, Vernon and Vivian Carpenter; and her brother, John Louis “Sugar Man” Carpenter.
She is survived by her four daughters, Paula Garlington of Pollock, Tracy Robertson of Pollock, Donna Roberts (Kevin) of Pollock and Tanya Miller (Kevin) of Pollock; six grandchildren, Amy Parker( John Peoples), Dylan Garlington, Taylor Robertson, Derrick Roberts (Aurora McDonald), Kaleb and Jacob Miller; five great grandchildren, Gaven Roberts, Baileigh Peoples, Micah Thomas, Grayson Roberts, and Jackson Troyce Robertson; her sisters, Carolyn Carpenter, and Paula Martin; her fur baby pup, “Little Brother”, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The best dressed lady in Grant Parish, Patricia loved spoiling her grandkids and spending quality time with her family and friends. A wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
