Obituary for Patricia Lee "Pat" Adams (Morrison)

Patricia Lee Morrison Adams, affectionately known by friends as "Pat", peacefully departed this world during the normal aging process on April 28, 2021, while surrounded by friends and family at her home in Ball, Louisiana.

A devout member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, Pat devoted her life to the study of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She was the author of "A Charted Journey Through Revelations", a developer of various Bible study lessons and a frequent contributor to various Bible study groups.

For most of her life, Pat was an entrepreneur who founded Health Explosions, a nutritional consulting business in partnership with the Skaklee organization. She was active in the business for over forty years, until poor health forced an all too early retirement this year.

Pat, an original member of the Cenla Patriots, was also a scholar of the Constitution and an active participant in several political causes on both the local and national level.

Pat was the beloved wife of James D. "Sparky" Adams, whom she met in post-World War II Hahn Germany. They lived in Alabama, Morocco, and Washington State before settling in Central Louisiana during the Vietnam War era until Sparky's passing in 2003. She is survived two sons, Jim Adams of Vista, CA and Chuck Adams of Ball, LA, plus a daughter, April Adams of Ball, Louisiana. Her grandchildren are Brandon, Tanner, and Stacey Crane of Cenla, Michael Adams of Baton Rouge and Andrew Adams of Los Angeles, California. She also has eight great-grandchildren. She is survived by sisters, Jean Eissner of Concord, CA, Linda Kearney of Salt Lake City UT, and Kathie Williams of Smith County, TN.

Though she lived most of her life in Louisiana, Pat never forgot her native home state of Colorado. She will be memorialized at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday, May 9th, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Brother Steve Montgomery officiating. There will be a private service in Fishville, LA, and Genesee Mountain, CO.
