Obituary for Oleta Honeycutt Edwards
Mrs. Pheba Oleta Honeycutt Edwards, age 87, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 18, 2020 at The Oaks Care Center in Pineville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at New Prospect Church at 11:00 AM. The visitation will begin at 9:00 AM.
Mrs. Oleta Edwards was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She was born into a musically gifted family and enjoyed singing Gospel with her family. She later enjoyed singing and sharing radio time with her husband on their radio station. Ms. Oleta will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Edwards; parents; Reecie Mathew Honeycutt and Audie Ava Tison Honeycutt daughters, Alena Stark; sisters; Lois Honeycutt Gibbons, Eunice Honeycutt Slay, Fannie Lee Honeycutt Hickman; grandsons, Dylan Cline and Kenny Stark; brothers, Oble Honeycutt, Donnis Honeycutt, and T.L. Honeycutt.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Darris Cline (Donna) Dry Prong; three step-sons; sisters, Polly Welch (Hershel) and Nelda Ganey; sister-in-laws, Birdie Lee Honeycutt and Brooksie Honeycutt; grandchildren, Joshua Cline (Katrina), Israel Cline, Ethan Cline, and Abby Stark Gaspard (Dwayne); great grandchildren, Rylie Cline, Isaiah Cline, Aria Vanantwerpen, Zachery Gaspard and Katelyn Gaspard.
