Obituary for Nellie "Corky" Elliott Sandidge
Funeral services for Nellie “Corky” Elliott Sandidge will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Lloyd Whitman officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Ball, Louisiana.
Pallbearers honored to serve include Glenn Bell, John Gregory, Micah.

Visitation for Mrs. Sandidge will be on Saturday, May 21, 2022 beginning at 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Nellie “Corky” Elliot Sandidge, age 89, of Tioga, Louisiana, entered eternal life on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Corky is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 28 years, Wayne Sandidge; her parents, Leroy Elliott and Leona Elliott; her siblings, Fred Elliott, Bob Elliott, Russel Elliott, Ellery Elliott, Leroy Elliott, Joanna Vaughan, Alice Elliott, and Winona Fontenot.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Mary Gregory (John), and Martha Bell (Glenn); her devoted grandchildren, Micah Bell, Nikki Bell, and Josh Gregory (Jess); her brother, Frank Elliott; and a host of nieces, nephews other family and friends.
After graduating from Louisiana College in nursing, she was a proud registered nurse at Rapides Regional medical Center where she retired after 24 years of dedicated service. An avid cook, Corky had a passion for singing in church choir as well as sewing for church missions while being a faithful member of First Baptist Church Dry Prong. A loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, she will greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
