A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Nancy Marchand Benjamin will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4401 Bayou Rapides Road in Alexandria, Louisiana a later date.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until Mass time at the church.

Nancy Marchand Benjamin, age 69 of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Woods Haven Care Center in Pollock, Louisiana surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alexander Joseph Marchand and Hallette Harlan Marchand.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Mary Kathryn Benjamin Ginsburgh (Aaron), and Emelee Benjamin Willis (Otis); her three granddaughters, Hallie Ginsburgh, Sadie Ginsburgh, and Annie Ginsburgh; her siblings, Alex Marchand (Ruth), and Gay Lynn Jones (Don); numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Born and raised in Alexandria, Nancy was a former paralegal with several law firms. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends that she loved so much. A wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to any of the Alzheimer's research organizations in her name.
