Obituary for Nancy Todd Rachal
Ms. Nancy Todd Rachal, age 64 of Dry Prong, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Monday, January 2, 2023, at her home in Dry Prong.
Visitation for Nancy will be on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 5:00-8:00 PM at Gallagher Funeral Home. Services will be on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Gallagher Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Frazier Cemetery in Dry Prong, Louisiana.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Todd Duffell, Brady Parker, Robert Carrington, Kelly Brown, Brandon Albert, and Mike Elias. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Rachal, Sr., Brody Berry, and Garrison Windham.
Nancy is preceded in death by her father, James D. Todd, Sr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Heather Rachal; son, Danny Rachal, Jr.; mother, Margaret M. Todd; brothers, James D. Todd, Jr., William Edward Todd (Leonda), and Kenneth Todd (Susan); sisters, Barbara Parker, Donna Todd, and Susan Cockrell (Will); grandchildren, Bentley and Makinlee Albert; and a slew of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Nancy loved to do word puzzles and any kind of puzzle really. She enjoyed watching Daniel and her grandkids play baseball, never missing a game. Her grandchildren were her world. She was always playing games on her ipad whenever she could. She enjoyed talking and visiting; she never met a stranger. She was a big-time coffee drinker even when it was 95-degree weather outside. She enjoyed listening to country music and going to concerts in her younger days. She even met Alan Jackson and has a signed guitar from him. She was a loving mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
