Private Memorial services for Barbara Ann Tanner Young of Pineville, Louisiana will be held at a later date. Barbara was born on February 24, 1957 and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Tanner, Sr. ; and her siblings, Kelly Wiles and Edward Jack Tanner, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Stanley C. Young, Jr; her children, Natasha A. Lemmons, Aliesha A. Thompson, Robert A. Means, Katrisha A. Means, Melissa Munger, and Stanley C. Young III; her grandchildren, Daniel Munger, Todd Munger, Stanley C. Young IV, Shayda N. Marien, Daijon Molette, Kassidy Molette, Macy Means, Anabelle Means, Isabelle Means, and Robert J. Means; her mother, Nettie Mae Tanner; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Barbara was an LPN at the VA Hospital in Pineville, Louisiana for 30 years where she retired in 2019. She was a faithful member of Kingsville Baptist Church in Ball, Louisiana, who enjoyed shopping, but more than anything else, spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
