Obituary for Milburn "Sherwood" Warren
Mr. Milburn Sherwood Warren, age 75, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at his home in Ball, surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation for Mr. Warren will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Gallagher Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The service will be held in the Chapel at 12:00 p.m. with interment following in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Warren and Violet Hamilton Warren; and half sister, Yvonne Wilson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Deborah Mayeux Warren; son, Daniel Warren (Deree); daughters, Rhonda Hicks (Dwayne), Tina Ann Martin (Larry), and Marissa Michelle Sanders; brothers, Durwood Warren (Yvonne), J.D. Warren (Cheryl), and Jerry Warren (Cyndee); sisters, Glenda McKamie, Helen Warren, and Joan Mahoney (Tim); and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mr. Warren was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed reading, carpentry, and taking his grandkids to horse races. Mr. Warren retired from the City of Alexandria after 27 years, as Chief of Fire Prevention and safety and was a machinist at Dresser before that. He will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
