Mike was a brave and courageous man who left his mark on many lives. He served his country, first, in the U.S. Air Force and then in the U.S. Navy. As a registered nurse, he loved helping his ICU patients at the VA Hospital and was best known as “the nurse with the ponytail”. Mike was a man of deep Christian faith, and he loved learning everything he could about the Bible. He took every opportunity to witness about his faith. We know he is sitting at the feet of God, and we will join him when our time comes to be called home. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, pawpaw, brother, son, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda Hedrick Mioton; Three daughters, Jessica Mioton; Rebecca Sigler and husband (Matthew); and Erica Mioton. Five grandchildren: Layla Mioton, McKenzie Faulkner, Cade Mioton, Rylee Sigler and Reagan Sigler; Mother, Virgia Quin Harkey; Sisters, Jeanine Mioton, Jennifer Sheffield and husband (Larry); Brother, Brad Mioton and wife (Laura).
