Funeral services for Michael E. Cosenza Sr. will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory in Ball, Louisiana. Interment to follow at Palmer Chapel Cemetery in Kolin, Louisiana.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Steve Cosenza, Trevor Fontenot, Brett Waltermyer, Paul Gallien, Devon Meche, Wayne Lavespere, Jason Basco, and Reece Cosenza.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Michael E. Cosenza, Sr., age 69, a resident of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternity on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at his residence in Pineville, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Bill McComic; his granddaughter, Joleigh Adell Cosenza; his son-in-law, Terry McComic; his father, Frank A. Cosenza Jr.; his mother, Gloria Jeanine Cosenza; his brother, Clarence “Skeets” Moore; his sister, Joan Marie Gallien; his brother-in-law, Paul Gallien Sr.; and his niece, Ashley “Tooter” Gallien.
He is survived by his loving children, Mike Cosenza Jr. (Sherree), and Amy Cosenza, and Deanna Cosenza (Mike Waltermyer); his grandchildren, Trevor Fontenot, Lexie Cosenza, Dusty McComic, Reece Cosenza, Jordan Meche (Devin), Jaydan Berryhill, Brett Waltermyer, Blake Waltermyer, and Alexis Rachel; his great grandchildren, Jamon Cosenza, Alijah Cosenza, Kaden Meche, Savannah Meche, Trey Rachel, Jonathan Rachel, and Ruby Waltermyer; his siblings, Steve Cosenza (Cheri), and Sandy Lavespere (Wayne); numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Mike, a classic car and truck enthusiast, enjoyed talking and sharing many stories. Above all he enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. A loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
