Obituary for Melba Louise Cantwell Hargrove
Mrs. Melba Louise Cantwell Hargrove, age 92, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 31, 2021 at her residence in Ball, Louisiana.
A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 3:00 PM in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Ball, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home. Reverend Jason Townley from Pine Ridge Baptist Church will officiate the service. The visitation will be held from 1:00 PM in the Chapel, until departure for Graveside service.
Mrs. Hargrove was a loving mother and grandmother. She worked for many years as a book keeper and enjoyed gardening and cooking. Mrs. Hargrove's family, especially her grandchildren, were her whole world. Every Friday night at her home, you were guaranteed a hamburger. She loved them and would rock to sleep any of them she was able to hold. She will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Ray Hargrove; parents, William Percy Cantwell and Roxanna Cruse Cantwell; brothers, Vernon and Clayton Cantwell; and grandson, James Simmons and Kaiston Addison.
Those left to cherish her memory include, sons, William Teddy Hargrove (Sharon) and John Hargrove; daughters, Sandra "Dee" Louise Simmons, Verena Anderia "Baby Doll" Feazell, and Sheila Hargrove; grandchildren, Tammy Lasyone, Tiffany Addison, Jessie Ray Simmons (Tuesday), Richard Dewayne Simmons, Tanya Ford, Alisa Gillespie (Steven), Chad Feazell (Sharon), and Jeffery Feazell; great grandchildren, Weston Simmons (Whitney), Alisha Burney (Matthew), Katelyn Lachney (Patrick), Schylar Smith (Jessica), Chance Addison (Malorie), DuLane Lasyone, TJ Lasyone, Nickolas Lasyone (Katelyn), John Robert Nalezinek, Taylor Feazell (Katelyn), Tanner Feazell, Ryan Feazell, Britney Feazell, Hunter Simmons, Brittney Simmons, and Remy Ford; and 12 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Jesse Simmons, Richard Simmons, Hunter Simmons, John Robert Nalezinek.
