Obituary for Martin Derwin Howell
Mr. Martin Howell, age 66 of Lena, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans.
Martin is preceded in death by his parents, James and Melba Howell; daughter, Misty Howell; a sister, Sonya Howell; and a brother, Roy Howell.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Frankie Howell; son, Brandon Howell; grandchildren, Alanis Perkins (David) and Elijah, Samuel and Hannah Farmer; a great grandson, Leland Perkins, a sister, Linda Cain and a brother, Gary Howell.
Martin loved to deer hunting and was an avid fisherman. He was a man that just loved the outdoors. He was a master plumber and master gas fitter for 33 years. He was a jack of all trades and could fix about anything. He enjoyed life to the fullest and he was a "preacher", always spreading God's word. He was a loving father, husband and grandfather and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
