Obituary for Martha Ann Funderburk (Hargrove)
Mrs. Martha Ann Hargrove Funderburk, age 80, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory.
Services for Mrs. Funderburk will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home with Reverend Roland Hebert. The visitation for Mrs. Funderburk will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow the service in Hargrove Cemetery in Kelly, LA.
Mrs. Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed playing Scrabble and word search puzzles in her spare time. Mrs. Martha loved to spend talking to her family but by phone call and never text message. She will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Funderburk; parents, Travis W. Hargrove and Nina Newell Hargrove; sisters, Imogene Hargrove and Jeanette Wilber; and son-in-law, Loyed Erp.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Vicki Erp and Shanna Funderburk; sister, Marilyn H. Glover (Duane), grandchildren, Chloe "Missy" Erp Lott, Christian "Bubba" Erp, Colton "Flipper" Erp, and Cheyanne "Lucy" Woodruff (Shawn); great grandchildren, Jackson, Ethan, and Kinsley Lott.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to LSU Family Practice, Dr. Wesley Davis, Dr. Bruce Barton, Ritha Warren, Betsy Rainwater, for their care, compassion, and friendship of Mrs. Martha Funderburk.
