She was employed at the Rapides Parish School Board, where she was a Paraprofessional at Pineville Elementary for 18 years. She loved and adored her school family and all the children. She and her "buddy" Officer Cortez kept things and everyone in line. She also loved her conversations and trips with her really good friend Mrs. Tuma.
She enjoyed working in her yard and traveling. Most of all she loved and adored her family. Her grandsons were her heart and to her they did no wrong. Her great grandbabies stole her heart and she loved them so much. They were truly her joy in life. She had a one of a kind voice and laugh that will forever be missed.
Her Daughter was her heart and she loved her more than anything. She had her back no matter what. The bond between them is inseparable and they were so close. She was the rock of our family and had the best saying "EVERWHAT"."
A letter to maw-maw from her daughter:
" My sweet momma, I know my daddy was waiting for you at the Golden Gates in Heaven. My heart is broken, but I know you are right where you want to be. I love you momma,
Your daughter, Mary."
