Obituary for Margaret Ann Bryant (Smith)
Mrs. Margaret Ann Bryant, age 74, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, 30, 2021 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bryant was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt. She was very creative and talented when it came to arts and crafts. She was able to look at something online or in a magazine and recreate it. Mrs. Margaret Byrant was the matriarch of her family, also described as the glue that held everyone together. She will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson H. Smith and Etha Roberts Smith; sister, Jane Wells; and nephew, Brian McPherson.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband John Bryant; son, James Bryant and wife Donna; daughters, Tracy Slayter and husband Jay, and Sarah Bryant; sisters, Lynn Medlen, Pattye "Ree Ree" McPherson, Nancy Oberman; sister-in-law, Wanda Cundiff; grandchildren, John and Ann Bryant and Chase and Chole Slayter; nieces and nephews, Tony and Allen Cundiff, Amy Porche, Brad McPherson, Amanda and Cameron Pooler; and many great nieces and nephews.
